Lyrics
The day is dead the sun is down
I don't know a single soul in town
Think I'll go solo
Tryin' to kill a Saturday night
Work a week for a little pay
Fill the car I'm on my way
I won't sit home cryin'
Tryin' to kill a Saturday night
Man, it's lonely
When only the wheel holds you tonight
Run from sorrow
Tomorrow I'll pay for tonight
Mothers cry as doors are slammed
The boulevard is hot and jammed
I'm really flyin'
Tryin' to kill a Saturday night
The night is done the streets are dead
All alone I crash in bed
Am I livin' or dyin'
Tryin' to kill a Saturday night.
