God's gonna ride on the raining tide God's gonna ride on the raining tide God's gonna ride on the raining tide God's gonna ride on the raining tide Brother Noah, brother Noah Heard God talkin', he's gonna ride on the raining tide Mmm Brother Noah, brother Noah Heard God talkin', he's gonna ride on the raining tide Children, stop, still, and listen to me God walked down toward the briny sea Beheld the evil of sinful man Declared that he would destroy the land He spoke to Noah and Noah stopped He said look 'a here Noah, build me an ark I want you to build it big and strong Build it three hundred cubits long Thirty high and fifty wide I want it to stand by the raining tide Ah, ah Noah Ah, ah Noah Ah, ah Noah God's gonna ride on the raining tide Ah, ah Noah Ah, ah Noah God's gonna ride on the raining tide God's gonna ride on the raining tide God's gonna ride on the raining tide Brother Noah, brother Noah Heard God talkin', he's gonna ride on the raining tide Well after God told him what to do Noah began to cut and hew And the ring of the hammer with judgment The ringing of the saw cried sinner repent A hundred years he hammered and sawed Built the ark by the grace of God After the foundation was laid He hewed the timber, the ark was made He called in the animals two by two The ox, the camel, and the kangaroo Then he called in Japheth, Shem, and Ham And God began to flood the land He raised his hands to Heaven on high Knocked the Sun and Moon from the skies Shook the mountains and disturbed the seas Hitched the winds to his chariot wheel He stood on the land, he stepped on the shore And declared that time would be no more Ah, ah Noah Ah, ah Noah Ah, ah Noah God's gonna ride on the raining tide Ah, ah Noah Ah, ah Noah God's gonna ride on the raining tide God's gonna ride on the raining tide Mmm Brother Noah, brother Noah Heard God talkin', he's gonna ride on the raining tide
