We love Him because He loves us
Not because we are so good or kind or true
His kindness brought us to repentance
Come to Him for He loves you too
We love Him because He loves us
Not because we are so good or kind or true
His kindness brought us to repentance
Come to Him for He loves you too
Are you tired of walking on the road you're traveling?
Do you feel the emptiness within your soul?
Are you burdened by your sin?
Do you want to start again?
Are you looking for someone to make you whole?
Has your father or your mother left you wounded?
Are you yearning for someone whose love is true?
Well, there's hope for you today
Each of us has felt that way
Till we turned to Jesus Christ to make us new
We love Him because He loves us
Not because we are so good or kind or true
His kindness brought us to repentance
Come to Him for He loves you too
Are you tired of trying to justify your failure?
Is the weight of sin pressed heavily on your soul?
Jesus died to take your place
So your sins could be erased
If you'll only come to Him, He'll make you whole
We love Him because He loves us
Not because we are so good or kind or true
His kindness brought us to repentance
Come to Him for He loves you too
Won't you come to Him right now
To confess your sins and bow
To the One who sacrificed His life for you
Then you'll love Him because He loves you
Not because you are so good or kind or true
His kindness brings us to repentance
Come to Him, turn from sin
Let Him make you whole again
Come to Him for He loves you too
