Human Fly

The speaker presents himself as a “human fly,” an odd, noisy creature who buzzes and says he does not know why. The lyrics move between comic self-description and hints of discomfort: his mind feels like a “garbage brain,” and he dislikes the ride it is taking him on. Still, he sounds more defiantly playful than frightened, turning his strangeness into a kind of performance.

Several images make that persona vivid. “96 tears and 96 eyes” exaggerates the fly-like identity, suggesting many eyes and perhaps many reasons to cry, though the line is deliberately strange rather than a clear explanation. “Garbage brain” is an informal, self-mocking way to describe confused or unpleasant thoughts. Calling himself a “reborn maggot using germ warfare” pushes the insect imagery into grotesque humor: he imagines himself as something lowly and repulsive that can nevertheless cause trouble.

The repeated “I don’t know why” leaves the speaker’s behavior unexplained. It may express genuine confusion, or it may be part of the joke: he embraces an absurd identity without needing a sensible reason.
