Stronger

The speaker is ending a relationship and insisting that the other person can no longer control her. At first, she draws a firm boundary; then she celebrates her growing independence. The repeated claim that she is stronger “than yesterday” suggests that confidence has developed over time, rather than appearing all at once. Loneliness remains part of her experience, but she says it no longer overwhelms her.

“Not your property” is a forceful way to reject being treated as someone who belongs to another person. “Go with the flow” means accepting what happens without pushing back; the speaker says she used to do this while paying little attention to her own needs. “It’s nothing but my way” suggests that she now intends to make her own choices, not that every part of life will be easy.

The lyrics present being alone as a sign of freedom and self-respect, especially in contrast with a relationship where the speaker felt controlled or overlooked. Still, “I don’t need nobody” may be a confident declaration, an emphatic response to past dependence, or both. It need not mean she will never want companionship; the focus is on knowing she can stand on her own.
