Lyrics
He always thought his time would come
He'd make his mark, he'd be the one
So many hopes, so many dreams
So many plans, so many schemes
But the universe has other plans
Now a path of fear and anger lies ahead of him
I always thought I'd go in peace
A ripe old age, a life complete
But the universe has other plans
And destiny dictates the fate of man
As you gaze up to the stars
It doesn't matter who you are
Like the clouds up in the sky
Your whole life is flying by
What a way to die!
She was adored, she was a queen
Her star, the brightest ever seen
She walked on air, she'd never fall
World at her feet, she had it all
But the universe has other plans
And now she's just a puppet in the final act
We always thought we had control
So self-assured we ran the show
But the universe has other plans
And destiny dictates the fate of man
As you gaze up to the stars
It doesn't matter who you are
Like the clouds up in the sky
Your whole life is flying by
What a way to die!
What a way to die!
"At this point, I'd usually encourage you to like and subscribe, and smash that notification bell... but, honestly, what's the point? By the time the algorithm figures out how to monetize the apocalypse, we'll all be stardust... well, I'm sure you've all been asked the question in the past "what would you do if you only had 5 months to live?" Well, what would you spend your last days doing? You can probably guess what I'll be doing. Oh, yeah."
