Lyrics
I'm safely in the arms of Jesus
And like a mother holds her babe
I'm safely in the arms of Jesus
I will be when he calls me away
I said old time preacher man, have you got the plan
This old thing's about to drive me crazy
Well I don't know how to die and I don't know how to live here
He picked up his old time Bible and he said
I'm safely in the arms of Jesus
And like a mother holds her babe
I'm safely in the arms of Jesus
I will be when he calls me away
I said old time preacher man, can you help me understand
What you've got that always keeps you smiling
There's so many ways to go, and you know you'll never know
With a reassuring smile he looked up and said
I'm safely in the arms of Jesus
And like a mother holds her babe
I'm safely in the arms of Jesus
I will be when he calls me away
