Muhammad is still in his tomb
And Joseph Smith is still in his tomb
And Buddha is still in his tomb
And Confucius is still in his tomb
But there is one Man (one Man)
Who was not found in a tomb
I've been there, the tomb is empty
He was seen alive by over 500 eyewitnesses
Who wrote down accurate accounts (hey)
That they saw the Man who hung on a cross (hey)
And we touched His scars
Watch this word, alive
Jesus is the King, and He's alive
Hallelujah, Jesus is alive
I looked at the grave, and the stone was rolled aside
As for me and my house, we will serve the Christ
And sing, "Hallelujah, Jesus is alive" (yeah)
Yeah, Buddha is still in the grave (yuh)
Muhammad is still in the grave (yuh)
Except for only one name (yuh)
Who has the power to save
Once was a slave, He set me free
Paid the whole price, know that ain't cheap
Laid down His life, took all the heat
If I think about it, I can't even speak
Man, He popped out that tomb with the body they buried
He's coming back soon for the bride that He married
The scars on His back show the game that He carried
Just one day away is way further than scary
He walked on a wave in a storm
I heard He gon' sharpen His sword
And when He returns, we will cry
Jesus is the King, and He's alive
Hallelujah, Jesus is alive (hmm, yeah)
I looked at the grave, and the stone was rolled aside (He gon')
As for me and my house, we will serve the Christ
And sing, "Hallelujah, Jesus is alive" (yeah, yeah)
Pop out, hop out
Out of that grave, He done walked out
Washed in the blood from the top down
Y con la palabra que se va "ra-ta-ta"
I was lost (yeah), dying, but I'm found now (yeah)
They say that 50 was hard because he got shot up
But my Jesus rose out of that grave, out of that grave
I feel like Peter, I'm walking on waves
Not walking by sight, walking by faith
Moving like Peter, yeah, Parker got power in my veins
Walk it like I talk it, let the Spirit come down
Camino con una fe que mueve montaรฑas
He gon' come again, and every knee will bow down
And that's why we sing, "Jesus is alive"
Hallelujah, Jesus is alive
I looked at the grave, and the stone was rolled aside
As for me and my house, we will serve the Christ
And sing, "Hallelujah, Jesus is alive"
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Hallelujah, Jesus is alive
(Jesus is alive)
(Jesus is alive)
