Had a friend when I was small
She was into basketball
A beauty from head to toe
She was almost six feet tall
But her name I can't recall
Must've been Barbara or so
Anyway she died, oh no
The year she turned into a Pro
Now I don't watch the ballgames no more
Loved to see all of her games
With all these sturdy lovely dames
A free throw as solid as gold
She had a higher aim
To achieve a little fame
Things that I've been told
Anyway she died, oh no
The year she turned into a Pro
Now I don't watch the ballgames no more
These days I sit on my patio
Turn on my stereo
No, I don't watch the ballgames no more
Anyway she died, oh no
The year she turned into a Pro
Now I don't watch the ballgames no more
These days I sit on my patio
Turn on my stereo
No, I don't watch the ballgames no more
