Lyrics
Snow is falling, silver seeker
Soon the path is lost to sight
Soon the day, my silver seeker
Soon the day gives way to night
Ice is forming, silver seeker
Soon the streams are fastened tight
Soon the shadows, silver seeker
Soon the shadows claim the light
Look over you shoulder at where you have been
The edge of the world can no longer be seen
Fast is the forest and slender your track
Harder it grows to find your way back
Rest your head now, silver seeker
Close your eyes and cease your search
Where the black bird lightly perches
Here among the gleaming birch
You are safe now, silver sleeper
Break of dawn is far away
Safe to sink down deep and deeper
Here inside the dying day
Look over you shoulder at where you have been
The edge of the world can no longer be seen
Fast is the forest and slender your track
Harder it grows to find your way back
You are safe now, silver sleeper
Break of dawn is far away
Safe to sink down, deep an deeper
Here inside the dying day
Rest your head now, silver seeker
Close your eyes and cease your search
Close your eyes now, silver sleeper
Here among the gleaming birch
