Wet Dream

The lyrics present a blunt, sexually suggestive fantasy, repeated like a chant. The speaker describes having erotic dreams and repeatedly urges a woman to lie down. The mood is playful and provocative on the surface, but the commanding language can also sound pushy, so the humor may feel uncomfortable rather than romantic.

“Wet dreams” means erotic dreams during sleep, while “push it up” is a sexual innuendo rather than a literal instruction. The line about standing in separate corners and taking punches borrows the image of a boxing match: it may suggest a contest or a speaker who claims he can withstand resistance. “Big shot” usually means an important or confident person, though here it also fits the song’s teasing, sexual wordplay.

The lyrics leave the relationship and the woman’s feelings unclear. The repeated demand might be intended as exaggerated comic bravado, but the words themselves emphasize the speaker’s desire, not mutual affection or consent. The song can therefore be read as crude sexual humor, while also recognizing that its language depicts pressure. Its simple, repetitive form does not develop a detailed story; it mainly intensifies the same suggestive refrain.
